DMCA and Copyright Policy

How to report copyright concerns involving material hosted or displayed by Seoptiz.

Effective date: October 26, 2026 · Last updated: October 26, 2026

Seoptiz primarily analyzes public pages hosted elsewhere. This policy distinguishes those external pages from material controlled by Seoptiz and leaves designated-agent details explicitly unconfigured until verified.

Purpose and scope

Seoptiz respects copyright and expects users to do the same. This policy describes how copyright concerns may be raised about material that Seoptiz hosts or controls, and explains how to distinguish that material from a page the diagnostic tools merely retrieve from another website. It is general information and is not legal advice.

The application publishes Seoptiz editorial pages, tool interfaces, and administrator-managed site content. A user can submit a URL or text to a tool, but the application is not a public user-generated-content hosting platform in the current release. A diagnostic result that quotes or identifies a public page does not mean Seoptiz owns, hosts, or controls the original page.

Designated-agent status and required setup

No DMCA designated agent has been verified or registered for Seoptiz. This policy does not claim that a designated agent exists or that Seoptiz qualifies for any statutory safe harbor. Publishing a policy or setting up an email address alone does not establish registration or eligibility.

Before accepting formal notices as a registered-agent process, the operator must confirm and register the designated agent through the U.S. Copyright Office system and keep the information current. The site owner must supply and verify all required public details before the placeholders below are replaced:

  • Designated agent legal name: [Not provided — owner must confirm.]
  • Mailing address: [Not provided — do not use a private residential address without authorization.]
  • Telephone number: [Not provided.]
  • Copyright-notice email: [Not verified; the general inbox is not designated for formal notices.]
  • Registration status: [Not verified; do not represent registration as complete.]

Until these details are completed, the Contact Us page is informational and is not represented as a registered DMCA notice intake channel. The operator should obtain qualified legal advice before activating the process.

Material on external websites

If the allegedly infringing material appears on a website that Seoptiz does not host or control, the website operator, hosting provider, or other responsible service is generally the relevant party to contact. A Seoptiz diagnostic page may fetch public markup, show a URL, or describe a response. The target site's content remains controlled by that external operator, and Seoptiz cannot remove it from the external server or search results.

For an external page, use the site's own copyright or legal process and the appropriate hosting provider or platform channel. If a Seoptiz page itself contains the allegedly infringing material, identify that Seoptiz page and provide the information described below. Do not send a claim about external material as if Seoptiz hosted it.

Information for a copyright notice

A notice should provide enough information for the responsible operator or registered agent to identify the work and locate the material. A formal notice under applicable law generally includes:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized representative.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed; a representative list may be used when multiple works are covered and the law permits it.
  3. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to locate it, such as the exact Seoptiz URL.
  4. Contact information sufficient for the responding party to reach the complaining party, such as an address, telephone number, or an email address that the owner authorizes for this purpose.
  5. A statement that the complaining party has a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or law.
  6. A statement that the notice information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act for the owner.

Do not include identity documents, account passwords, payment information, or unrelated personal records. The operator may request clarification if the notice does not identify the work or material sufficiently. A knowingly material misrepresentation may have legal consequences under applicable law; obtain legal advice if uncertain.

How to prepare a notice for material on Seoptiz

Before sending a notice, confirm that the exact material appears on a Seoptiz-controlled page and not only on the external website being analyzed. Copy the complete Seoptiz page address, identify the specific image, text, or other work at issue, and explain where it appears on the page. If the complaint covers several works or locations, provide an organized list that lets the operator match each work to each URL.

Identify the copyright owner or the person authorized to act for that owner. Include a contact method that the complaining party has approved for this legal purpose. Provide the required signature and statements described above. Keep the notice accurate and narrowly scoped; do not include unrelated allegations about a user's account or a competing business. If the alleged infringement is on an external site, send the notice to that site's operator or appropriate provider instead.

Because a designated agent and intake mailbox have not been verified, the current Contact Us page does not accept or confirm formal notices. Do not infer delivery from a page load, an unmonitored mailbox, or an email bounce. The owner must complete agent details, confirm the actual receiving channel, and publish instructions before this process is represented as operational.

Submission, review, and possible action

Once a valid intake channel is configured, the operator should record the date received, review whether the notice identifies material hosted or controlled by Seoptiz, and assess whether removal or disabling access is legally appropriate. The operator may preserve relevant records, restrict access to the identified material, notify an affected user where appropriate, or request clarification. Action depends on the facts and applicable law; a notice does not automatically prove infringement.

At present, no designated agent or dedicated copyright mailbox is verified. Do not treat the form of this page as confirmation that a formal notice has been received. The owner must publish the agent's details and confirm the intake process before representing that notices are accepted through it. No response time is promised in this template.

Counter-notifications

If material hosted by Seoptiz is removed or access is disabled after a notice, the affected person may have a right to submit a counter-notification under applicable law. A counter-notice generally identifies the removed material and its former location, includes the person's contact information, contains a statement under penalty of perjury that removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, includes the required consent-to-jurisdiction statement, and bears a physical or electronic signature. The exact required wording and jurisdictional statement depend on the law and the person's circumstances.

A counter-notice should be submitted only after reviewing the legal requirements. The operator may forward it to the complaining party as the law requires. Under the federal DMCA process, restoration may occur within the statutory window—generally not less than ten nor more than fourteen business days after receipt of a compliant counter-notice—unless the complaining party provides notice of a court action seeking to restrain the user. This description is not legal advice; counsel should verify the current statute and process before action.

What to consider before a counter-notice

A counter-notice is a formal legal statement, not a routine appeal. A person should identify the material that was removed or disabled and its former location, state under penalty of perjury that removal or disabling resulted from mistake or misidentification, provide the required contact details and signature, and include the jurisdiction and service-of-process statements required by law. The exact statement varies with where the person resides and where the service operates; an incomplete or inaccurate counter-notice can have consequences.

When a compliant counter-notice is received through a verified channel, a service may need to forward it to the original complainant and wait the statutory period before restoring material, unless the complainant provides the required notice of a court action. Restoration is not automatic on submission. The operator must verify that the relevant statutory steps and deadlines apply to the specific service, content, and parties. This page does not authorize a user to repost material while a dispute is pending.

Do not send a counter-notice to an address that has not been confirmed as monitored. A private administrator address is not a public legal intake channel. The owner must publish a verified agent and procedure before accepting counter-notices.

Repeat notices, disputes, and account action

The current product does not offer a public publishing platform where users post arbitrary material. If a future feature allows user publication, the operator should adopt and consistently apply a repeat-infringer policy, define when account action is appropriate, provide a way to correct mistaken identification, and retain only the records needed to administer the process. This page does not claim that a registered repeat-infringer program or content-moderation queue is operating today.

A party that disputes a notice should keep a copy of the notice, any response, and the affected URL. The operator may preserve limited records to understand a dispute and meet a legal obligation. A notice does not by itself establish ownership or infringement, and a counter-notice does not by itself establish that a use is lawful. Questions of fair use, licensing, ownership, and jurisdiction are fact-specific and should be addressed with qualified counsel.

Do not use a copyright notice to suppress lawful commentary, criticism, reporting, or competition. Do not use the process to expose a person's private contact details or to threaten someone over an unrelated dispute. The parties remain responsible for their statements and legal positions.

Repeat infringement and user content

The current service does not provide public user accounts for publishing arbitrary content. Where an account feature stores a project or report, it is not a general publication platform. If that model changes, the operator should maintain a repeat-infringer policy, preserve records needed for lawful review, and apply account actions consistently and proportionately. No automated repeat-infringer program is claimed to be active today.

Users retain rights in their own original submissions, subject to rights belonging to others and the limited permissions needed to provide the tool. Do not submit material you do not own or have permission to use. Seoptiz retains rights in its own original editorial content and marks, subject to any third-party licenses.

Misrepresentations, records, and privacy

Copyright notices and counter-notices can contain personal contact information and legal declarations. The operator should use that information only to process the notice, comply with law, preserve relevant records, and manage the related dispute. Access should be limited to people who need it. Retention should be documented and should not exceed what is justified by the legal process, applicable law, and legitimate recordkeeping needs.

Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a notice or counter-notice can expose a person to legal consequences. Submit only information you believe to be accurate and only when authorized. Do not use the copyright process to suppress lawful criticism, competition, or material you do not own.

Updates and legal review

This policy must be updated when a designated agent, mailbox, or hosting practice is verified. The site owner should complete the placeholders, register the agent if required, and have qualified counsel review the notice and counter-notice procedures before relying on them. No safe-harbor eligibility or statutory registration is claimed by this page.

For general questions, see the Contact Us page. A DMCA email address will not be displayed until the owner verifies that the mailbox or alias can receive notices. Related pages include the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy.
